Chewy in the center, crispy on the edges; these cookies are loaded with creamy white chocolate chips and crunchy macadamia nuts with just a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
White chocolate and macadamia nuts; a definite cookie power-couple. What is it about these two that, when paired together, are irresistible?

White chocolate macadamia nut cookies are a favorite of both my hubby and my daughter so I thought I would make them some this year. I’ll have to hide some if I want my son and his wife to get any.
Even though this recipe has several ingredients, don’t let it scare you away, it’s all basic stuff. And I’m guessing you probably have most of it.
Start by beating the butter, shortening, sugars, baking soda, and salt together until it’s nice and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix it up good.
Then the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Finally, the good stuff.
Make sure your cookie sheets are completely cool between batches. Warm cookie sheets will make the cookies spread too much.
I got 58 cookies out of this recipe. Your mileage may vary.
