Flavorful, fall-off-the-bone rotisserie-style chicken for dinner tonight or to use in your favorite chicken recipes. And your slow cooker does almost all the work.

You’re gonna want this rotisserie chicken in your life. It’s one of my favorite time saving shortcuts because the slow cooker keeps the chicken so juicy, it does virtually all the work and you can go about your day while it cooks.
You can use it in:
- quesadillas and enchiladas
- chicken and noodles
- pot pie
- chicken a la king
- fried rice
- tons of other stuff
Just a little prep work. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry. Mix up the nine herbs and spices. Rub them all over the bird.
Fun fact: My mom worked in the factory where Crock-Pots were made. It was her job to glaze the inside of the crock. She had some crazy toned arms while she worked there. Aaaannyyway…
I still always buy Crock-Pots. They’re the original and I’ve always found them to be very reliable. This is my latest and greatest edition. It has some fab features that I really love:
- it automatically switches to “warm” after the cooking time is done. I don’t even have to be home.
- it has a leak-resistant lid that locks down so I can take it places.
- it’s shiny
I also found this fantastic silicone roastng rack to put in the bottom. Now, I know a lot of people like to use wads of foil, but that seems to be really wasteful to me. Besides, I kind of like the extra flavor you get from the chicken cooking in it’s own juices.
This baby is dishwasher safe, reusable, it won’t scratch your slow cooker, and you can even use it in the oven up to 500°. I can’t wait to use it with my iron skillet!
Just drop the chicken on the roasting rack and let it do it’s thing. At the end of the day—dinner. Or future dinner. Or both.
