Spicy Slow Cooker Jambalaya
Jambalaya loaded with shrimp, andouille sausage, and cajun trinity slow cooked in a spicy creole sauce! A New Orleans classic!

Ingredients
  • 1cup chopped green pepper
  • 1cup chopped onion
  • 1cup chopped celery
  • 3cloves minced garlic
  • 1(28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 12ounces fully cooked andouille sausage
  • 1/2teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • 1-2teaspoons Louisiana hot sauce(such as Franks)
  • 12ounces cooked frozen shrimp(peeled and deveined)
  • 2-4cups Hot cooked rice
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients except shrimp and rice to slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 7-7 1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender. Stir in shrimp and cook an additional 5-10 minutes or until shrimp is heated through. Serve with rice.
