Slow Cooker “Rotisserie” Chicken
Flavorful, fall-off-the-bone rotisserie-style chicken for dinner tonight or to use in your favorite chicken recipes. And your slow cooker does almost all the work.

    • 2teaspoons paprika
    • 1teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1teaspoon onion powder
    • 1teaspoon Sugar
    • 1pinch (or to taste) cayenne pepper
    • 1/2teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
    • 1/2teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
    • 1/2teaspoon fresh ground pepper
    • 1teaspoon kosher salt
    • 4-5pound whole chicken
    1. Mix all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl; set aside.
    2. Spray 5-6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place silicone roasting rack in bottom to raise chicken.
    3. Rinse chicken inside and out; pat dry with paper towel.
    4. Rub spice mix all over chicken and place in slow cooker on top of rack.
    5. Cook for 6-7 hours on low or until meat thermometer inserted into thigh reads 160°.
    Recipe Notes

    After cooking, saving drippings for gravy or stock.

    To freeze for recipes, shred or chop, store in1-2 cup portions in zip top freezer bags.
