Slow Cooker Beef and Noodles
Fork-tender beef and home style noodles, slow cooked in a rich, beefy mushroom-onion gravy. Comfort and convenience in one pot.

    Ingredients
    • 2-3pounds beef stew meat
    • 1can mushroom soup, undiluted
    • 1recipe DIY Homemade Onion Soup Mix(or 1 packet onion soup mix such as Lipton)
    • 1(.87 ounce) packet brown gravy mix
    • 3 dried bay leaves
    • 1teaspoon dried thyme
    • 4cups (1 32 ounce carton) beef broth
    • 10ounces sliced mushrooms
    • 1(24 ounce) bag frozen noodles(such as Reame’s)
    Instructions
    1. Spray a 5-6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Combine stew meat, mushroom soup (undiluted), onion soup mix, gravy mix, bay leaves, thyme, and beef broth; stir well.
    2. Cook on low heat for 6-7 hours until beef is tender.
    3. Increase heat to high. Add mushrooms and frozen noodles. Cook on high heat for additional 30 minutes.
    4. Stir and remove bay leaves before serving.
    Recipe Notes

    This recipe makes¬†tons¬†of gravy. If you don’t like your beef and noodles quite so saucy, cut beef broth back to 3 cups.
