Sweet and Smoky Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork
Nothing says “Summer” like BBQ Pulled Pork. Sweet and smoky sauce with onion, garlic, and a pinch of red pepper flakes for a hint of spice.

    • 4pounds boneless pork butt
    • 1/2cup chicken broth
    • 2teaspoon onion powder
    • 1teaspoon garlic powder
    • 2teaspoon paprika
    • 2teaspoon seasoned salt
    • 1teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 2cups bottled BBQ sauce
    • 1/4-1/2teaspoon red pepper flakes(optional)
    • liquid smoke(optional)
    1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Add pork, fat side up. Pour chicken broth in. Mix together onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, seasoned salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over pork. Cook on high for 8 hours.
    2. Remove lid; shred pork. Add BBQ sauce, red pepper flakes, and liquid smoke; mix well to combine.
    3. Replace lid and cook additional 1 hour.
    Recipe Notes

    Substitute 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite rub instead of the seasonings.

    For thicker sauce, spoon off some of the liquid before adding the last three ingredients.
