Ingredients
  • 4tablespoons butter
  • 1/4cup all purpose flour
  • 2cups turkey broth
  • 1teaspoon turkey base(such as Better Than Bouillon, optional)
  • 1/2teaspoon onion powder
  • 1teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat; whisk in flour. Cook for 3 minutes to cook out raw flour taste. Slowly whisk in turkey broth then remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
