Nutella is one of those things that’s greater than the sum of it’s parts. Chocolate…amazing. Hazelnuts…delicious. Together…angels sing!
These Nutella brownies start with a mix. My favorite is Betty Crocker Fudge brownies. They don’t pay me to say that, I just really like them and have used Betty Crocker products for years and years.
I’m using their Fudge brownie mix, it’s my favorite. Add the eggs, oil, Nutella, and coffee creamer.
Yep, coffee creamer. It’s a great way to get a flavor boost. I use it instead of water.
Mix the batter until it’s well combined.
Spread it in 9 x 13 inch baking pan that’s been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake it for around 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let it cool completely before frosting or the buttercream will melt.
This frosting is from scratch. I really don’t like the taste and texture of canned frosting and rarely use it.
Beat the butter for 30 seconds.
Then add the powdered sugar, Nutella, and coffee creamer. Beat it until it’s fluffy and everything is incorporated, about another minute.
Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.
Chop the candies…
…and sprinkle over the top. Cut into 24 brownies.
