Growing up, drumstick cones were always one of my favorite ice cream treats.
As an adult, nothing has changed. I still love them.
So when I spied these adorable little waffle cone bowls…
…I knew they would be an awesome way to use some of my homemade Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping to make a sundae version of my favorite treat at home.
This couldn’t be easier. The magic shell is only 2 easy to find ingredients. And it’s so much cheaper than store bought.
Start by putting the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small saucepan. I use “expeller pressed” coconut oil. It has a neutral flavor that doesn’t taste like coconut.
Melt them together and stir until the sauce is smooth. Set it aside to cool slightly.
Put some ice cream in the waffle cone bowl. I’m using vanilla this time but changing up the flavor is fun.
Next, spoon the magic shell over the top and immediately sprinkle with the chopped peanuts.
